A girl should be two things: classy and fabulous – Coco Chanel.
As a lover of classic style, I am an ardent believer of this quote.
Ever since I remember I’ve had passion for Styling and Fashion , over a period of time you shall notice my taste in styling is more on the classier and feminine side. If you ever happen to bump into me on a regular day you won’t believe I, am a Fashion & Style blogger 😉 my normal days are very casual and ordinary, Jeans and a Basic cotton T-shirt with my Tote Bag, Platform slip ons and a messy bun or ponytail , well yes that is how I am on my plain Jane days, but yes when I happen to dress up I make sure it reflects grace, poise, sophistication and class.
Today’s post talks about being classy, The look I, am wearing today breathes class and femininity specially due to the high waist, body hugging tangerine (Looks more on the orange side in the pictures) skirt that sculpts the body just fine. I decided to pair the skirt with a black shirt, also since I love paying attention to details: notice the tangerine hand accessory, long neck-piece and my nude color peep toe pumps along with my Vero Moda bag. Since this was my day time look what better way to complete the look by beating the scorching heat with a cool pair of sunglasses. Concerning make up I made sure my look is subtle with clever mix of colors that compliments my ensemble just perfect.
For all my lovely girls and women out there, A woman should master the art of being a head turner well there is no hard and fast rule to look classy, just learn to celebrate the woman within you and see the difference it will make to your outlook and approach towards being classy and fabulous.
I am wearing:
Outfit – Tangerine Skirt & Black Shirt from Forever 21
Bag – Vero Moda
Shoes – Nude Peep Toe Pumps from Koovs
Sunglasses – Rayban
Style Tip for the day : Going overboard with your jewelry is a big No, when you want to show your classier side make sure you go minimalist, you can do it in any one of the 3 ways listed below :
1) Wear a chunky necklace with some hand accessory to go with it. ( Finger rings also look neat )
2) Earrings with hand accessory.
3) Do not club all the 3 together you might end up looking shabby if not done the correct way. Still if you happen to do it make sure your earrings or your neck-piece one of it is not over sized, either stud earrings with heavy neck-piece or a simple chain in neck with a nice pair of earrings and you are good to go.
Style Mantra for the day : Remember : “What is important in a dress is the woman who is wearing it” said – Yves Saint Laurent . I completely vouch for it, even a simple dress can make you stand out in the crowd just wear it with oomph and class 🙂
