Trust you guys had an awesome weekend.
“There is nothing more rare, nor more beautiful, than a woman being unapologetically herself; comfortable in her perfect imperfection. To me, that is the true essence of beauty”– Steve Maraboli
So true, Sometimes you just want to chuck your always pretty me girlie look for something more carefree and very bohemian like, we all go through days when we want to bring out the free spirited & nomadic girl hidden within us. So why fear about anything, just do it anyways.
As per the research I did to understand the existence of Bohemian style, apparently it is believed that it has its heritage which traces back to Romani Gypsies. Bohemians, the name was taken from the Romani Gypsies who traveled through Western Europe from Bohemia.
I love it when girls/women dress up the bohemian way; it looks chic, bold, rustic and unconventional to me. Honestly I was never a fan of the Bohemian demeanor, but over the years my affinity towards bohemianism derived from an aesthetic standpoint and the stylish look which goes heavy on accessories, free flowing styles, layering, pom pom sandals, gladiator sandals, anklets, hats, hair bands and a lot more.
Well, there is so much that you can do with your Bohemian looks, so I have decided that over a period of time I shall keep bringing you variety of Bohemian / Gypsy styling. It would be fun to bring out the Bohemian in you and the trend in your closet.
For today’s post I decided to do a combination of Indian and Bohemian style, bringing out the Indo Boho Vibe is much easier than your routine gypsy look. I went a little ethnic but still managed to give it the required Indo Western outlook and to spice up the look went barefoot wearing anklets with my free flowing black palazzo pants and ethnic beige cream color corset. Layering is also an important aspect (not always though) if you decide to dress the Bohemian way, I layered my outfit with a long black cape and completed my look with some silver jewelry. It was my perfect two in one Indo Boho look.
I went barefoot for the pictures but ideally would wear a black pom pom sandal or something similar to give it a finishing touch.
Like I mentioned this is just the beginning and I shall be back soon with a lot more on Bohemian looks.
Indo Bohemian, Style Tip for the Day: Palazzos are in vogue this season and I am sure we all have at least one pair of Palazzo in our closet. So bring them out pair it with a crop top or corset, layer it with a cape or Jacket, (You may replace Palazzos with Culottes or even a Long flowing skirt ) wear your Kolhapuri sandal or something similar and finally throw on some accessories and you are good to go.
Bohemian Style Mantra for the Day: You are free to Think, Imagine & Create what your heart desires; so do it anyways.
Thank you for the love you guys have been showering upon me, it gives me motivation to do better.
So until next time.
Stay Boho Stay Stylish 🙂
